New Star Wars TV Show in the works
Well its offical. Lucas has annouced that there will be Star Wars long after May 19th, 2005. A new TV show is in the works that will take place between Episode III and IV.
I am totally all over this now. At first I was not because I was not sure what era that the show would be based on. If it was after Jedi, it would suck because without Vader and the Empire there really is no Star Wars. However, having the show between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, we will have a ton of cool stuff. This will be really about the rebels starting off, Vader hunting down all the Jedi, the rise of the Empire etc. Now this is Star Wars.
The only thing is that we probably will not see the first show until sometime in 2007/2008. He plans on shooting the entire first season at one time. He also plans on stepping away from the project and let other run with it. I think this could be a good thing. Get someone in there who is a devoted Star Wars Fan. HMMM....Kevin Smith!!! (My choice)
