Virtual PC 7 for OS X

Well I have always wanted to run Windows on my G5 ever since I bought it. However, the version of Virtual PC that was not out did not work with the 64 bit G5. Finally! A version of Virtual PC is available that I can run. Little did I know, but Virtual PC 7 was available on my MSDN subscription. So I have installed it and put Windows 2000 Professional. I decided not to go with XP because its a bit slower than 2000 and the only reason I am going to use Windows on my Mac is for Visual Studio 2003 and Office 2003.

So far it has been very responsive. I am in the process right now of installing Visual Studio 2003. I will let you know how goes!

What did you find? Does VS.NET 2003 run well on VPC7 for OSX?

It's acceptable. I have 1.5 gigs of ram on my Mac so I can allocated 512 megs to the Virtual PC. I am doing some more tests and may do some benchmarks if I get bored here.
